A few people have asked why I'm not writing as often as I did a few months ago. There's not much to write. Things have been so calm recently. Maura has been busy living her life: online classes, voice lessons, friends, more friends, and MDA.
Chemo 11 starts tomorrow.

- This is a picture of my daughter, Maura. She died from metastatic high-grade unclassified sarcoma* on May 19, 2009 at the age of 22. For one year I wrote about her journey with cancer. I don't know if I'll keep writing now or if I'm done. We'll just take it a day at a time. *Sarcoma is a little-known, under-researched, under-funded cancer. Oh, I'm so glad to hear things are "ho-hum", that's so much better than "drama, drama, drama".
We got a chance to see Mara last weekend when she stopped by to say hi to Adam and Matt in College Station. We relived some fun memories of their spring break beach house (Shalom 3) and the fact that the Crystal beach area was totally devestated by IKE. It was really cool to see her out and about, enroute to visit friends in Austin. Lot's of answered prayers all around. Thanks for taking time to keep us in the loop.
