Ashes and Mount Fuji, Japan

Katie went to visit Leah in Japan. She took a little bit of Maura with her and released her ashes on Mount Fuji--a BFF once again fulfilling Maura's dream of traveling the world. Thank you, girls. Special thanks to Chelsea once again for a great film.

I have to stop watching these things at work. In front of everyone I start crying. To them its for no apparent reason. A beautiful gift her friends gave. Maura is still among us, just in a different form.

Thank you for sharing this. My soul sister and best friend, Molly McCarthy, passed away on November 14, 2014 at the age of 38 from a very rare cancer. It was High Grade Neuroendocrine Carcinoma originating in the pancreas and spreading to her liver. We were flight attendants together and have traveled the world. We planned on climbing Mt Fuji together once she beat her cancer. I spent the last two days of her life with her and promised to take her up to Mt Fuji. I will be going next summer and taking a few close friends. I have written about Molly on my blog site if you would like to read them. She was an amazing soul with a zest for life.

This was such a wonderful tribute done for your beautiful Maura.
