- This is a picture of my daughter, Maura. She died from metastatic high-grade unclassified sarcoma* on May 19, 2009 at the age of 22. For one year I wrote about her journey with cancer. I don't know if I'll keep writing now or if I'm done. We'll just take it a day at a time. *Sarcoma is a little-known, under-researched, under-funded cancer. Hi Erin. Thank you so much for doing this blog....Christian & I check it almost daily. We'd like to come see Maura...when would be a good time? Also, is there anything she really likes that we could bring along? Thank you!

How is Maura getting on after the last round of chemo? She sure is a fierce fighter!! Hope you all are doing well. I check the blog weekly. Is Maura up to visitors? If so when is a good time to visit?
We are keeping Maura and the family in our hearts and prayers.
