The memorial service for Maura will be as previously mentioned: Saturday, May 23, at 10:00, at Spring Baptist Church, 1027 Spring Cypress Road, Spring, TX.
I hope there will be lots of singing.

- This is a picture of my daughter, Maura. She died from metastatic high-grade unclassified sarcoma* on May 19, 2009 at the age of 22. For one year I wrote about her journey with cancer. I don't know if I'll keep writing now or if I'm done. We'll just take it a day at a time. *Sarcoma is a little-known, under-researched, under-funded cancer. Did she attend Twin Creeks? I remember her.. and I am one of the few still there, but know and keep up with a lot of the former teachers. we would love to attend.
Erin, So sorry that I won't be there in person as we are in Augusta, Ga taking care of or three grandkids while their parents are in Caifornia. I so much want to be there but wi definitey be there in spirit.
And I will wear yellow here on Saturday.
