Privilege and Blessing

Mother's Day is tomorrow.  It is a privilege to take care of my very sick child.  Given the immutability of our circumstances today, there is no place I would rather be, nothing I would rather be doing.  It is a blessing to see so clearly the depths of my love for her.  Thank you, God.

Erin, I can ONLY imagine how you must feel as Maura's mother - So proud, so blessed to have such a special daughter (one of three like her). . . .And yet to be going through all of this with her must be painstaking. I know I want to take all of the hurt and uncertainty away from her, and I think often of how you must feel so much more as her mother. Please know that you all are loved and prayed for and thought of every day. I have TONS of people out there rallying in prayer for your family!
Love,
Nicole Franklin

Erin, I hope that Mother's Day was a blessing for both of you. Maura has been in my thoughts, prayers, and my hopes that tomorrow will bring good news.
